Dr. Richard Zane, MD, FAAEM

Dr. Richard D. Zane has over 28 years of experience in the field of Emergency Medicine. He earned his BA from Johns Hopkins University and his MD from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Emergency Medicine. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Vice Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital and as an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Currently, he serves as an Attending Physician at the University of Colorado Hospital, as the George B. Boedecker, Jr. and Boedecker Foundation Endowed Professor and Chair at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and as the Executive Director of Emergency and EMS Services at UCHealth. He also serves as the Chief Innovation Officer and Co-Founder of the UCHealth CARE Innovation Center.
