Dr. Rahul Anand, MD

Dr. Rahul Anand, MD has extensive experience in surgical critical care. He received his BA in chemistry from Johns Hopkins University before earning his MD from the University of Michigan. He subsequently completed an internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, a research fellowship in pediatric surgery at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, and a fellowship in trauma and critical care at the University of Maryland. This expert is board-certified in general surgery and surgical critical care and holds several certifications, including advanced trauma life support, advanced surgical skills for exposure in trauma, and pediatric advanced life support. He is active in his field as a member of several organizations, such as the American College of Surgeons and the Association for Surgical Educators. He is also highly involved in research as an author of numerous publications, a peer-reviewer for several scientific journals, and an invited speaker at various conferences throughout his career.
