Dr. Pranita Tamma, MD, MHS

Dr. Pranita D. Tamma has 12 years of experience in Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology. She earned her BS and MD from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center Brooklyn and her MHS in Biostatistics from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She completed a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases. Formerly, she served as an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Medicine. Currently, she serves as the Director of Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship at Johns Hopkins Hospital, as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Medicine, as well as an Associate Professor of Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
