Dr. Peter T. Silberstein has nearly 40 years of experience in the field of Internal Medicine with expertise in Hematology and Oncology. He earned his BA in Biophysics from Amherst College and his MD from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics, he went on to complete a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Today, this expert is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Formerly, this expert held roles as Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine at MercyOne North Iowa Cancer Center and as the Assistant Medical Director at Odyssey HealthCare. Currently, he serves as Chief of Oncology at the Omaha VA Medical Center and as a Physician in the Department of Hematology and Oncology at CHI Health. He is also a Professor and Chief of Hematology and Oncology at Creighton University School of Medicine.
