Dr. Paul Fidel

Dr. Paul Fidel has more than 30 years of experience. He completed a BS in biology at Allegheny College as well as an MS and PhD in microbiology at the University of Oklahoma. He is extensively published in the field of infectious disease, microbiology, and immunology and is active in numerous professional societies including the Infectious Disease Society of America and the American Society for Microbiology among others. He previously held positions at Wayne State University, Louisiana State University and Oklahoma State University in microbiology, immunology, and infectious disease. Currently, he serves a professor of microbiology and is jointly appointed as faculty in the obstetrics and gynecology department and is also the associate dean of research at a public university in Louisiana.
