Dr. Patricia Penkoske, MD

Dr. Patricia Penkoske, MD earned her BA at Lindenwood College followed by her MD at the Washington University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in general surgery at Barnes Hospital and a residency in cardiothoracic surgery at New England Deaconess Hospital. This expert then completed two fellowships - one in pediatric cardiac surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children and one in critical care at Washington University. She is a member of several prestigious organizations including the American Association of Thoracic Surgeons, the American College of Cardiology, and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. She has previously held roles as the director of the pediatric ICU at the University of Alberta Hospital and as a staff physician in the cardiothoracic surgical ICU at the University of Alberta. Currently, she is a staff physician in the surgical trauma ICU at a MO university.
