Dr. Nana Adu Sarkodie

Dr. Nana Adu Sarkodie in family medicine and primary care earned his BS in biomedical education at CUNY Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, his MPH from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, and his MD from Ross University School of Medicine. After completing his internship and residency in family medicine at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, this expert remained there to complete a prestigious fellowship in geriatric medicine. He is active in his field as a member of the American Geriatrics Society and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Formerly, he served as an urgent care physician at New Orleans East After Hours Urgent Care, as a family medicine staff physician at Jai Medical Center and at Perry Point VA Medical Center. He also served as a medical director of geriatrics and extended care center as well as the home-based primary care program at VA Maryland Maryland Health Care System in Loch Raven. Currently, he is a deputy director of geriatrics and extended care center for a major VA medical health system in Maryland.
