Dr. Nael Shanti, MD

This orthopedic spine surgeon earned his BA in biology from the University of South Florida before completing his MD at St. George's University. He then went on to complete a residency in orthopedic surgery at SUNY downstate medical center and a prestigious spine surgery fellowship at Tufts. He is member of several professional organizations including the North American Spine Society, the North Carolina Spine Society, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He has published a dozen peer-reviewed journal articles and formerly served as a clinical assistant instructor at SUNY Downstate as well as a clinical instructor of orthopedic surgery at Tufts.
