Dr. Mustasim Rumi, MD

Dr. Mustasim Rumi, MD earned his BA in molecular biology from Colgate University and his MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He completed two residencies, one in general surgery at the New England Medical Center and another in orthopedic surgery at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in orthopedic surgery at the Emory Spine Center and is board certified in orthopedic surgery, he is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He has held positions as a staff spine surgeon and instructor at Tufts-New England Medical Center, and medical director of the spine program at Round Rock Medical Center. He currently is a spine surgeon at an orthopedic private practice in Texas while also providing service as an active medical staff member at a number of hospitals throughout Texas.
