Dr. Morgan Katz

Dr. Morgan Katz in infectious disease medicine and infection prevention protocol earned her BS at Tulane University, her MD at the University of Maryland, and her MHS at Johns Hopkins University. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Tulane University and thereafter, she completed a fellowship in infectious diseases at Johns Hopkins University. She is active in her field as a researcher and as a member of the Coronavirus Commission for Safety and Quality in Nursing Homes. She is currently serving as an assistant professor and attending physician of infectious disease at a prestigious university in Maryland. She is also the director of the microbial stewardship and the incident commander for COVID-19 response in long-term care facilities in a university-affiliated health system in Maryland.
