Dr. Mitchell Machtay has over 31 years of experience in the field of Radiation Oncology. He earned his BS in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and his MD from NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at Radiation Oncology. Today, this expert is board certified in Radiation Oncology. Formerly, he served as the Walter J. Curran Jr. Professor and Vice Chair in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and the Vincent K. Smith Professor and Chair in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Currently, he serves as the Associate Dean for Clinical Cancer Research and the Professor and Endowed Chair in Cancer Clinical Research in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Penn State College of Medicine and Attending Physician in Radiation Oncology at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He also served as the Associate Director for Clinical Research at Penn State Cancer Institute.
