Dr. Michelle Y. Owens has 16 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, her MD from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, and her MS in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Mississippi. After completing her internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Riverside Regional Medical Center and her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, she went on to complete a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Today, this expert is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine. Formerly, this expert served as the Professor of Maternal Fetal Medicine, as the Director of the Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program, and as a Chief of the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
