Dr. Michael Shin

Dr. Michael Shin has two decades of experience in the field of cartography. He earned his BA, MA, and PhD in geography from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and he is a member of the Association of American Geographers. He previously served as an assistant professor of geography at the University of California, Los Angeles and as a geospatial analytics specialist at McKinsey & Company. He is currently the co-chair of a spatial demography working group at a population research center and an associate professor of geography at a top university in California.
