Dr. Michael R. Pinsky has 42 years of experience in the fields of Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Anesthesiology. He earned his BS in Molecular Genetics and Physiological Psychology from McGill University and his MD from the McGill University Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at Stanford University Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine and Physiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Today, this expert is board-certified in Pulmonary Disease and Internal Medicine. Formerly, this expert served as an Adjunct Professor of Anesthesiology at the UC San Diego School of Medicine and as the Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs in the Department of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He currently serves as a Professor of Anesthesiology, Critical Care Medicine, and Cardiovascular Disease at the Univeristy of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He is also an Emeritus Attending at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and the Emeritus Vice Chair of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
