Dr. Michael J. Trepal has years of experience in the field of Podiatry with a focus on Foot and Ankle Surgery. He earned his BA from Queens College, City University of New York and his DPM from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his Podiatric Surgery residency at New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Formerly, Dr. Trepal served as Section Chief of the Department of Podiatry at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan and SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where he also served as an Assistant Attending Physician. Currently, Dr. Trepal serves as a Professor in the Department of Surgical Sciences and as the Vice President and Dean for Academic Affairs at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He also serves as the Program Director for the Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Fellowships Residency Program at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and as a Physician at the Foot Center of New York and at his private practice, Trepal & Jules, DPM PC.
