Dr. Michael Marletta has over 35 years of experience in Chemistry and Cell and Molecular Biology. He earned his BA in Biology and Chemistry from the State University of New York Fredonia and his PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of California San Francisco. He then went on to train as an NIH Postdoctoral Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Formerly, this expert held several roles including serving as the Chief Executive Officer, President, and Cecil H. and Ida M. Green Chair of Chemistry at The Scripps Research Institute. He is also the Co-Founder of Omniox, Inc., a biotherapeutics company based in California. Currently, this expert is the CH and Annie Li Chair of Molecular Biology of Diseases and a Professor of Chemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley.
