Dr. Mehmet Okcu, MD

Dr. Mehmet Okcu, MD received his MD from the Istanbul University Medical School in Turkey and his MPH with an emphasis in Epidemiology from the University of Texas Health Science Center. He completed his residency in Anatomy at the Istanbul University Medical Center and Pediatrics from the Texas Health Center. He finished his fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/ Oncology from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is an active member in the Children's Oncology Group and has received an Award from the International Society of Pediatric NeuroOncology. Currently, his is a Co-Director of the Long-Term Survivorship Research Program, an Outpatient Clinic Supervisor in the Solid and Brain Tumor Clinic, and a Professor of Pediatrics at a Top University Medical Center in Texas.
