Dr. Matthew J. Ellis has over 16 years of experience in the fields of Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He earned his BS in Biology from Davidson College and his MD from Duke University School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Duke University Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Nephrology at Duke University Medical Center and a fellowship in Faculty Development at Duke University School of Medicine. Today, this expert is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Assistant Professor of the Division of Nephrology in the Department of Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine and as a Nephrologist at Capital Nephrology Associates. Currently, he serves as a Nephrologist and the Medical Director of the Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program at Duke Health. He also serves as an Associate Professor of Surgery and as a Professor of Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine.
