Dr. Mary Iaccarino, MD

Dr. Mary Iaccarino, MD is a board-certified physiatrist. She earned her BS in biology from Georgetown University and her MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine. She then completed an internship in internal medicine at the University of Virginia followed by a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and a fellowship in brain injury medicine/physical medicine and rehabilitation, both at Harvard Medical School/Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. Today, she is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and in brain injury medicine. She is an active member of her professional field belonging to a number of professional associations including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine. She currently holds a number of positions, including serving as an independent neurotrauma consultant for the NFL and as an instructor of physical medicine and rehabilitation at an Ivy League university in Massachusetts. In addition, she is an attending physician at several medical centers, including at an Ivy League-affiliated teaching rehabilitation hospital.
