Dr. Mark Sklansky, MD

Dr. Mark S. Slansky has 30 years of experience in the field of Pediatric Cardiology. He earned his BA in Biomedical Ethics from Brown University and his MD from the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, he went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at Texas Children's Hospital. Today, this expert is board-certified in Pediatric Cardiology. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Director of Fetal Cardiology Fourth Year Fellowship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and as a Professor of Clinical Obstetrics/Gynecology and Clinical Pediatrics at Keck School of Medicine of USC. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Fetal Cardiology Program at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital and as a Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, Chief and James H. Nicholson Chair of Pediatric Cardiology at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, Medical Director and Founder of the UCLA Health Children's Heart Center and Co-Director of the Pediatric and Congenital Heart Program at UCLA Health.
