Dr. Mark P. Callery has over 32 years of experience in the field of General Surgery, focusing on Hepatobiliary and Abdominal Surgery. He earned his MD from Albany Medical College. He completed both a research fellowship and his residency in General Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He went on to complete a fellowship in Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery. Formerly, this expert served as the Chief of the Division of General Surgery at UMass Memorial Health and an Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Currently, he serves as the Chief of General Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and as the William V. McDermott Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. He also currently serves as Staff Surgeon at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
