Dr. Mark King

This school administration expert earned his BS in history from Florida A&M University. He went on to complete his MEd from Trinity College followed by his EdD from Bowie State University. He is a member of the American Association of School Administrators, The School Club of Washington DC, and the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development. Formerly, he served as a middle school principal and high school principal in the Prince George's County Public School District. He went on to become the instructional superintendent of the District of Columbia Public Schools. He has also served as the deputy chief of operations of the District of Columbia Public Schools and as chief education officer of The School Turnaround Group. Currently, he serves as an adjunct professor of education administration at a top college in Maryland and as executive director of instructional leadership at a metropolitan public school district in Maryland.
