Dr. Marc William LaFonte has over 5 years of experience in the field of Surgery. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his M.D. from Ross University School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Surgery at SUNY - Health Science Center at Brooklyn, he went on to complete a fellowship in Trauma/Surgical Critical Care at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital. Dr. LaFonte is board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Currently, he serves as Assistant Professor of Surgery at Rutgers/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and as Division Chief for Critical Care at RWJ Somerset.
