He currently serves as Senior Vice President of the Office of the President, as Associate Director for Clinical and Translational Science, and as the Norna S. Sarofim Chair in Clinical Oncology at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is also a Member, an Attending Physician, and the Medical Director of the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Imaging Center at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Moreover, he is an Adjunct Professor at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, a Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College, and an Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine and Neoplastic Diseases at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
