Dr. Joshua S. Shimony has 22 years of experience in the field of Neuroradiology. He earned his BSEE from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Tennessee, and his MD from the Carle Illinois College of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He completed both his residency in Radiology and his fellowship in Neuroradiology at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Today, this expert is board certified in Neuroradiology and Diagnostic Radiology. Formerly, this expert served as an Attending Radiologist at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital and as the Director of Pediatric Neurology at St. Louis Children's Hospital. He currently serves as a Professor of Neuroradiology, as an Attending Radiologist, and as the Director of the East Building MRI Facility for the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis' Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. He is also a Co-Director of the Imaging Core within the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Furthermore, he is an Attending Radiologist at St. Louis Children's Hospital, Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and Missouri Baptist Medical Center.
