He earned his BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia and his MD from the Medical University of South Carolina. After completing his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Dr. Cantey pursued fellowships at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Texas Health San Antonio, Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Cantey is board certified in Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine and Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
