Dr. Jose Gutierrez, MD, RPVI

Dr. Jose Gutierrez has 10 years of experience in Neurology and Vascular Neurology. He earned his BS in Biological Sciences from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and his MD from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara Facultad de Medicina. He also obtained his MPH in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Florida International University. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College, a residency in Neurology through the University of Miami Health System, and a fellowship in Vascular Neurology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Today, this expert is board-certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and through the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. He is also a Registered Physician in Neurovascular Interpretation through the American Society of Neuroimaging. Formerly, this expert served as the Florence Irving Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. He currently serves as the Florence Irving Associate Professor of Neurology at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and as a Staff Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
