Dr. John Segreti, MD, FACP, FIDSA

Dr. John Segreti has 35 years of experience in the field of Infectious Diseases. He earned his BS in Biology from Loyola University Chicago and his MD from Rush University Medical College. After completing both an internship and residency in Internal Medicine, he went on to complete a fellowship in Infectious Diseases, all at Rush University Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease through the American Board of Internal Medicine. Formerly, this served as an Attending Physician at AdventHealth La Grange, Suburban Hospital, AdventHealth Hinsdale, Elmhurst Hospital, and MetroSouth Medical Center. He was also an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Rush University Medical College. He currently serves as a Senior Attending Physician in the Section of Infectious Diseases and as the Medical Director of Infection Control and Prevention at Rush University Medical Center. He is also an Attending Physician at Rush Oak Park Hospital and a Voluntary Physician at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. Moreover, he is a Professor of Internal Medicine at Rush University Medical College.
