Dr. John Denton, MD, FACS, FAAOS

Dr. John R. Denton Jr has 49 years of experience in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery with expertise in Trauma and Pediatric Orthopaedic. He earned his BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point and his MD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham Heersink School of Medicine. After completing his residencies in General Surgery at Mount Sinai West and in Orthopaedic Surgery at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Associate Orthopaedic Surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center and as Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery of Saint Vincent's Catholic Medical Centers. Currently, he serves as a Physician and the Director of Orthopaedic Graduate Medical Education at New York Downtown Orthopaedic Associates, as an Attending Orthopaedic Surgeon at New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital, and as a Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College.
