Dr. John R. Koethe has over 12 years of experience in the field of Infectious Disease. He earned his BA in Philosophy from Oberlin College and his MD from Yale School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital, he went on to complete a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He also completed additional training as an NIH Fogarty International Clinical Research Fellow in Zambia. Today, this expert is board certified in Infectious Disease. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Attending Physician of Infectious Diseases at Williamson Medical Center and as an Assistant Professor of Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor of Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and as an Attending Physician at the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System. He is also the V-SCHoLARS Program Director and the Director of the Developmental Core of the Tennessee Center for AIDS Research (TN-CFAR).
