Dr. John Fischer, MD, MPH

Dr. John P. Fischer has 9 years of experience in the field of Plastic Surgery. He earned his BA in Mathematics and Neuroscience from the Hamilton College, his MD from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University, and his MPH in Management and Healthcare Finance. He completed his residencies in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Today, this expert is board certified in Plastic Surgery. Formerly, he served as the Director of the Clinical Research Program at Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and as an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Presbyterian Medical Center of Philadelphia. Currently, he serves as a Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and as the Director of the Post-Bariatric Body Contouring Program and Herdon Lehr Research Program at Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He also serves as a Plastic Surgeon at Penn Medicine and as the Rotation Director in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
