Dr. John Linn, MD

Dr. John G. Linn has 11 years of experience in the field of Surgery. He earned his BS in Science Pre-Professional and his BA in History from the University of Notre Dame. He completed his MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin. After completing his internship and residency in General Surgery at McGaw Medical Center, he went on to complete his fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is also certified in Fundamentals in Laparoscopic Surgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Medical Director of the Physician Assistant Program at Northshore University Healthsystem and as Vice Chair and Chief of Surgery at the NorthShore Glenbrook Hospital. Currently, he serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Chicago and as a Gastrointestinal and General Surgeon at Northshore University Healthsystem. He also serves as the Director of Comprehensive Hernia Surgery at the Northshore University Healthsystem.
