Dr. Jennifer Armstrong, MD, MPH

Dr. Jennifer L. Armstrong has over 16 years of experience in Neurology with expertise in Child Neurology. She earned her BA in Biological Anthropology and Archaeology from the University of California, San Diego, her MD from the UCSF School of Medicine, and her MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of California, Berkeley. After completing her residency in Pediatrics and Adult Neurology at the UCSF School of Medicine, she went on to complete her fellowship in Child Neurology at UCSF School of Medicine. Today, this expert is board-certified in Neurology with a Special Qualification in Child Neurology. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Director of Clinical Research at Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and as a Clinician-Scientist at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Currently, she serves as an Inpatient Medical Director in the Department of Pediatrics - Child Neurology and as the Program Director of the Neonatal-Stroke-Inpatient-Neurocritical Care (NSINC) Team in the Section of Child Neurology at Children's Hospital Colorado and as a Professor of Pediatrics, Neurology, and Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She also serves as the Creator and Clinical Program Director of the Perinatal Stroke Clinic and the Co-Program Director of Justice, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (JEDI) at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
