Dr. Jay Paul Goldsmith has 46 years of experience in the field of Neonatology and Pediatrics. He earned his BA from Williams College and his MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his internship in Pediatrics at UCSF Medical Center. After completing his residency in Pediatrics at UCSF Health, he went on to complete a fellowship in Neonatology at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Formerly, he served as Chairman of Pediatrics at Ochsner Medical Center, as Medical Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at East Jefferson General Hospital, and as Section Chief of Neonatology at Tulane University School of Medicine. Currently, he serves as a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Tulane University School of Medicine and as a Staff Neonatologist at Tulane Lakeside Hospital, East Jefferson General Hospital, and Children’s Hospital of New Orleans.
