Dr. Jay Acharya, MD

Dr. Jay Acharya, MD has extensive experience in the field of radiology and neuroradiology. He earned a BA in economics from the University of Rochester and an MD from New York Medical College. He completed an internal medicine internship at Metropolitan Hospital-New York Medical College, a diagnostic radiology residency at New York Medical College, and a neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Southern California. Today, this expert is board certified in diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology and is active in various societies in his field such as the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and the American Society of Neuroradiology. He began his career as an assistant clinical professor of radiology and neuroradiology and was the program director of the neuroradiology fellowship at the USC Keck School of Medicine. Most recently, he was the associate division chief of neuroradiology at USC. Currently, he serves as a neuroradiologist and a faculty member of neuroradiology/interventional radiology at a large medical center in California.
