Dr. Jason Stopyra has over 19 years of experience in the field of Emergency Medicine. He earned his BS in Biology from Cornell University, and his MD from Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo. He also completed his MS from Wake Forest University. He then went on to complete his internship and residency in Emergency Medicine at Wake Forest University Baptist School of Medicine. Today, this expert is board certified in Emergency Medical Services and Emergency Medical. Formerly, he served as an Emergency Physician at Northern Regional Hospital, as a Staff Physician at Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care, as an Adjunct Volunteer Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, and as Medical Director of the Surry County Health and Nutrition Center. Currently, he serves as the Medical Director of Emergency Medical Services, Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, and an Emergency Department Physician and Regional Medical Director of Safety and Security at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
