Dr. Jason M. Kane has 16 years of experience in the field of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. He earned his BA in Spanish from Washington University in Saint Louis, his MD from Rush University Medical College, and his MS in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety from Northwestern University. After completing a residency in Pediatrics at the Indiana University School of Medicine, he went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Today, this expert is board-certified in Pediatrics and Critical Care Medicine. Formerly, this expert served as the Interim Section Chief of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Comer Children's Hospital and as the Acting Medical Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the University of Chicago Medical Center. He currently serves as the Associate Medical Director and the Director of the Quality and Outcomes for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the University of Chicago Medical Center. He is also a Core Faculty Member at the Center for Healthcare Delivery Science and Innovation within the University of Chicago and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Moreover, he is also an Attending Physician in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Comer Children's Hospital.
