Dr. James Hanje, MD, FAASLD

Dr. James Hanje has 16 years of experience in the fields of Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology. He earned his BS from The Ohio State University and his MD from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed both an internship and a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center before going on to complete a fellowship in Transplant Hepatology at UCSF Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology. Formerly, this expert served as a Professor of Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and as the Director of Hepatology and the Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He currently serves as a Physician with Ohio Gastroenterology Group, Inc., as the Co-Medical Director of the Ohio Health Comprehensive Liver Center, and as an Adjunct Professor of Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
