Dr. Ja Hyun Shin, MD, FACOG

Dr. Ja Hyun Shin, MD, FACOG has nearly 15 years of experience in the obstetrics and gynecology field. She earned her BS at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, her MS at the Harvard School of Public Health, and her MD at the SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. This expert then completed an obstetrics and gynecology internship at the Washington University Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the NYP Columbia University Medical Center, followed by a minimally invasive gynecology surgery in laparoscopy and pelvic pain at the University of Rochester Medical Center with a second fellowship of minimally invasive gynecology surgery in robotic surgery at the Montefiore Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She is an active member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Korean American Physicians Association of New York, and the Society of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeons.
