Dr. Jack Tsao, MD, MPhil, DPhil, MBA

Dr. Jack W. Tsao has 19 years of experience in the field of Neurology. He earned his BA in Biochemistry from Harvard College, his M.Phil. in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, his D.Phil. in Physiology and Pharmacology from the University of Oxford, his MD from Harvard Medical School, and his MBA from the University of Memphis. He completed a residency in Neurology at the UCSF School of Medicine before going on to complete a fellowship in Geriatric Behavioral Neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Today, this expert is board-certified in Neurology and Brain Injury Medicine through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is also certified in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry through the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties. Formerly, this expert served as a Chief of Staff for the Naval Operations Analysis and Assessments (N81) Unit of the United States Navy Reserve and as the Chief of Clinical Neurology and Sleep Medicine at Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center. He currently serves as a Commanding Officer and as a Reserve Force Surgeon with the Fifth Fleet Reserve Medical Unit of the United States Naval Forces Central Command and as a Staff Neurologist for the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System. He is also the Edwin H. Kolodney, M.D. Professor of Neurology at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and a Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Neurology, and Neuroscience at the F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
