Dr. Heidi Maier

Dr. Heidi Maier has 20 years of experience in childhood education and school administration. She earned her BS in elementary education from Cameron University and her MS in primary education, her EdS in early literacy and her EdD in child and youth studies from Nova Southeastern University. Formerly, this expert served as a teacher at Marion County Public Schools. She has additional experience as an assistant professor at Barry University and an associate professor of education at the College of Central Florida. Additionally, she was a program specialist for early learning for the Florida Department of Education and the program manager and learning lab school director at the College of Central Florida. Currently, this expert is the superintendent of a school district in Florida, where she is responsible for 43,000 students and 7,000 staff members.
