Dr. Gregory Postma, MD

Dr. Gregory Postma, MD has over 25 years of experience in the field of otolaryngology. After earning his BS at Geneva College and his MD at Hahnemann University, he went on to complete an internship in general surgery at the Naval Hospital of San Diego as well as a residency in otolaryngology at the Naval Hospital of Oakland and a second residency in otolaryngology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where he served as the chief resident. Today, this expert is board certified in otolaryngology and is an active member of several professional societies in his field, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Society of Geriatric Otolaryngology, the Dysphagia Research Society, and the Scientific Committee of the European Laryngological Society He previously served as a commander and staff otolaryngologist in the department of head and neck surgery at the Naval Medical Center of Portsmouth. This expert was also an instructor of otolaryngology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and an associate professor in teaching voice and swallowing disorders at Wake Forest University. Currently, he is a professor and the vice-chairman of otolaryngology at a medical school and the director of the voice, airway, and swallowing disorders program at a university-affiliated research center in Georgia.
