He earned his B.A. in Physical Geography from the University of Delaware and his M.S. in Physical Geography/Climatology from the University of Delaware. After completing his Ph.D. in Physical Geography/Climatology at Louisiana State University, he went on to hold various positions at the U.S. Geological Survey, including Senior Scientist and Lead Scientist. Dr. McCabe's expertise lies in Hydro-Climatology, Climate Variability and Change, Synoptic Climatology, Climate Teleconnections, Paleo-Climate Reconstructions, and Hydrologic Modeling. He has led and managed numerous research projects.
