Dr. Gerard Mosiello, MD

Dr. Gerard Mosiello, MD has over 20 years of experience as a plastic surgeon. He earned his BS in engineering chemistry from the State University of New York at Stoney Brook before attending dental school at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. He completed internships and residencies in both general practice dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery at Jersy City Medical Center. He then went on to earn an MD from Hahnemann University School of Medicine and complete both an internship and residency in general surgery at St. Barnabas Medical Center and a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of South Florida. As a board-certified plastic surgeon, he is active in his field as a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He formerly served as an assistant professor of plastic surgery at the University of South Florida. Currently, he serves as a clinical assistant and voluntary professor at a public research university, the owner of a private plastic surgery practice, and the medical director of two out-patient cosmetic procedure clinics in Florida.
