Dr. Gary Simon has over 40 years of experience in the field of Infectious Disease. He earned his BS in Chemistry from the University of Maryland and his MS and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also completed his MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center, he went on to complete fellowships in Infectious Diseases at Tufts Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Co-Director of the HIV Institute at George Washington University and as Acting Chair of Dermatology at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Currently, he serves as the Walter G. Ross Professor of Clinical Sciences and as the Emeritus Director of Infectious Diseases at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He also serves as a Co-Director at the District of Columbia Center for AIDS Research (DC CFAR).
