Dr. Gail A. Van Norman has over 35 years of experience in the field of Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology. She earned her BS in Microbiology from the University of Washington and her MD from the University of Washington School of Medicine. After completing her residency in Internal Medicine at Virginia Mason Hospital and in Anesthesiology at the University of Washington, she went on to complete a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Today, this expert is board-certified in Anesthesiology and Internal Medicine. Formerly, she held roles as Clinical Associate Professor and Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Washington School of Medicine and as the Medical Director of the Pre-Anesthesia Clinic at the University of Washington Medical Center. Currently, she serves as Professor Emeritus in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine as a Physician at UW Medical Center - Montlake.
