Dr. Eric T. Rush has 12 years of experience in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Clinical Genetics. He earned his BS in Biochemistry and Biology (Genetics) from the University of Kansas and his MD from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and his fellowship in Clinical Genetics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is also a Certified Clinical Densitometrist through the International Society of Clinical Densitometry. He is currently a Professor at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He is also the Underdown/Yeomans Family Endowed Professor of Connective Tissue Disorders Care, the Medical Director of the Office of Faculty Affairs and Development, and a Co-Director of the Skeletal Dysplasia Clinic at Children’s Mercy Kansas City. Furthermore, he is a Clinical Geneticist for University of Kansas Health System and Children's Mercy Kansas City.
