Dr. Eric Matolo

Dr. Eric Matolo specializes in analyzing complex business economics for commercial disputes, intellectual property issues, and patent and trademark cases. He has prior experience estimating damages and costs related to corrective advertising campaigns. This expert earned his BA, MA, and PhD in Economics from the University of California Santa Barbara. He is a member of numerous professional associations, including the American Economic Association and the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Association. This expert has published several professional works, including “Corrective Advertising in Lanham Act Damages: The Use and Misuse of Past Advertising Expenditures” (with S. Bosworth and R. Mangum. The Trademark Reporter, May-June 2017). He currently serves as the Vice President and as an Economist at a firm that specializes in economic analyses for commercial and IP litigation.
