Dr. Elizabeth J. Austin has over 38 years of experience in Meteorology. She earned her BS in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of California Los Angeles, and both her MS and Ph.D. in Atmospheric Physics from the University of Nevada Reno. Today, this expert is certified as a Consulting Meteorologist by the American Meteorological Society. Formerly, this expert served as an Associate Professor of Mathematics, Physics, and Meteorology at Sierra Nevada University and as an Associate Scientist of Atmospheric Sciences Center at the Desert Research Institute at the University of Nevada Reno. She also serves as a Professor of Atmospheric Sciences Center at the Desert Research Institute at the University of Nevada Reno. She is the Founder, CEO, and President of WeatherExtreme Ltd., a firm that provides national and international consulting and research to various governments and industries and research on a number of weather and climate topics.
