Dr. Ebbing Lautenbach, MD, MPH, MSCE, FACP

Dr. Ebbing Lautenbach has years of experience in the field of Internal Medicine with expertise in Infectious Disease. He earned his BS in Chemistry and Psychology from Calvin University, his MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, his MPH in General Public Health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, and his MSCE in Clinical Epidemiology from Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. After completing his residency in Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, he went on to complete two fellowships in Infectious Diseases and Clinical Epidemiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, respectively. Today, this expert is board certified in Infectious Disease. Formerly, this expert held roles as a Deputy Director of the Graduate Training Programs in Epidemiology, Vice Chair of the Graduate Group in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics, and Professor of Medicine at Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, he serves as a Director of Research in the Department of Healthcare Epidemiology and Infection Control at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, as Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases, and as a Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
